Top of the Rock Observatory in the heart of Rockefeller Center offers breathtaking views of New York City from three observation deck levels with 360 degrees view. Elevator to observatory requires reservation in advance or at walk up ticket office.
Note: Tickets for the ferry and for the United Nations Tour can be used at any time during the stay or visitors may use the Downtown Loop to hop-on and hop-off at Battery Park (embarkation point for ferry to Liberty/Ellis islands) and at the United Nations; trip on the ferry is not guided. At holiday times and in summer, clients should allow at least 2-3 hours if visiting only Statue of Liberty and 3-4 hours if visiting both Statue and Ellis Island. By purchasing ferry ticket in advance, clients will save time by not having to stand in line at ticket booth but they must still wait on line to board ferry. Ferry departs from Battery Park (one of the stops on the Downtown loop) approx. every 20 minutes between 9.00am and 3.45pm in spring, summer and autumn; less frequency in winter. First stop is Liberty Island; second stop is Ellis Island then ferry returns to Battery Park.
